PS Plus free games: New games revealed for June 2024
Here's what's coming in June 2024.
The most exciting time of the month for PlayStation owners returns, as Sony has now confirmed which titles will be free to download for PS Plus members in June 2024.
Next month’s Essential releases are a slightly more mixed bag when compared to May’s offerings. However, players can still get their hands on the excellent Streets of Rage 4, 2020’s sequel to the classic beat 'em up series.
May’s games, which included Ghost Runner 2, Tunic and Destiny 2: Lightfall, are only available to download until 3rd June, so hurry if you haven’t claimed them yet.
Football sim EA Sports FC 24 was also included in May’s list, but that has an extended window of availability, running until 18th June.
Keep on reading and we'll run through the PS Plus free games for June 2024.

As well as all the games included in the other tiers, PS Plus Premium lets you download and play older titles from PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP to harken back to a simpler time and relive your younger years.
PS3 games are only available via cloud streaming and this is region-dependent, but the UK is included in this list so we don't miss out.
See below for a selection of classics you can revisit:
- Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee (PS1)
- Ridge Racer Type 4 (PS1)
- Resident Evil Director's Cut (PS1)
- The Jak and Dexter series (PS2)

As a PS Plus Premium subscriber, you also have access to time-limited trials, which lets try before you buy and download a full game and play it for a set amount of time. The length of the trial varies depending on the game.
What’s also great here is that the progress you make on these trials will carry over if you end up buying the full game. We’ve got a selection of just a few below.
- A Plague Tale: Requiem – Two hours
- Baldur's Gate 3 – Two hours
- Cyberpunk 2077 – Five hours
- God of War Ragnarok – Three hours
- The Last of Us: Part I – Two hours
- Hogwarts Legacy – 45 minutes
- Sonic Frontiers – One hour
- Spider-Man 2 - Two hours
As you can see, longer RPGs and story titles get longer trials, so you can get a good sense of what you’re getting into before you fish out your wallet. Make sure to check out our more comprehensive list of all PS Plus games so you don't miss out on any games you've been meaning to play.
