The Formula 1 season is gearing up for a European triple header in the weeks to come, starting in Spain.
Max Verstappen returned to winning ways in Canada, but he hasn't managed to shake the feeling that the second half of the season could be a hard-fought battle with McLaren and Mercedes among those knocking on the door.
Red Bull's Sergio Perez experienced a dismal time out in Montreal following a Q1 elimination and race DNF. He is under pressure to justify the new contract he has received.

The calendar is a bumper-length adventure in 2024 with, aptly, 24 races to savour between March and December.
The globe-trotting tour has soaked up the Middle East, the Far East and Australia and will now begin a predominantly European summer leg prior to the final stretch across the Americas, with plenty of other locations scattered throughout the campaign.

When is the next F1 race?
The next F1 Grand Prix is the Spanish Grand Prix.
The race takes place on Sunday 23rd June in Barcelona, Spain.
It will begin at 2pm UK time.
