In recent times, Disney Plus has become known for a diverse range of shows and movies, not just its tentpole franchises.

However, when a big new series does get released from those franchises, they certainly arrive to a lot of buzz.

That is the case with The Acolyte, the brand new Star Wars series starring Lee Jung-jae, Amandla Stenberg and Carrie Anne-Moss.

Of course, it isn't the only big new arrival this month, with the third season of multi-award winning and critically acclaimed comedy drama The Bear also dropping.

Alongside these shows, the streamer will continue to release episodes of its ongoing series such as Welcome to Wrexham and The Kardashians, while a whole host of other series and films are also on the schedule.
